Omega Proteins Penrith Support Local School

Lowther Endowed School is a small primary school located next to our Penrith site. Carla Tickner who is the Head Teacher at the school wrote to Leo Group asking for some funding for their new scheme to help with the children’s learning called jigsaw. The scheme has excellent planning, resources, songs, books etc. to help deliver this valuable life learning from age 4 to 11.  The school had already managed to raise £1,600 so far but still needed funding.

Simon Boyes General Manager at Penrith attended the school this month and agreed to donate a cheque for £200 to help towards the school’s new scheme for learning. This means the school is well on their way to achieving funding for the new scheme. ​
